How does the Ravmon Virus affects your PC?

When you Open any drive in My Computer by right clicking, the Context menu will have a chinese like language & when you click on this language on context menu, the drive will not open but the Open With dialouge will ask you to “Choose the program you want to use to open this file:”. Also by double clicking any drive same thing happens. Context Menu and OpenWith Dialogue will look like this.


The Ravmon virus does also corrupt your Folder Options. So when you open Folder Options and try to check “Show hidden files and folders” and click ok. My Computer will not show hidden files, also “Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)” option will not be working. Folder Options Dailogue Error launching Task Manager, Registry Editor and Command prompt which is also solved by this tool

How Does the Ravmon Virus Spread?

Ravmon Virus mostly spreads from USB Flash drives. So to prevent this virus from breaking into your pc you must start an Anti-Virus before plugining a Flash drive into your pc. For Removing Ravmon virus and its effects I have created a tool. .

How to Use Ravmon Virus Killer

Select Remove Virus From Hard disk to remove Virus and all its effects. If clicking the button generates error. Then you must not have ravmon virus.
To remove the Virus from USB click the button.

If you scanned your system with Anti-Virus and it removed the virus but you see some after effects of virus then use Restore Windows Default Settings to remove those effects.
Some After effects of Virus are;

1.My Computer Drives Context Menu Problems
2.Folder Option has been missing from Tool Menu in My Computer
3. Folder Options "Show Hidden Files and Folders"& "Hide protected Operating system files" will not be working.
4. Task Manager, Registry Editor, Command Prompt ,RUN and Folder Options are disabled

This tool will also help to Restore All Folder Option Settings (For Windows XP ONLY) and disable AutoPlay on All drives that will prevent any infected USB drive to infect your system directly.

Note: If some of the Options on the Restore Windows Default Settings Page are greyed out then your system has not got that problem. For Example if You do not have Task Manager Disabled, the Option for Enabling it will be greyed out.
